At United Way of Greater Simcoe County, Training and
Consulting Services (UWTCS) we understand the challenges of nonprofit leadership and our goal
is to help nonprofit organizations to fulfill their mission.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
TCS
services are available to all voluntary organizations in the community.
Fees for services are affordable and dependent on the organizations
budget. No organization is refused service due to cost.

Comprehensive
Organizational Needs Assessment:
A survey tool designed to help your Board identify organizational
strengths, and areas of opportunity for growth and development, and
will help determine the most appropriate way to improve
organizational effectiveness.
Customized Training Consulting:
Our skilled volunteer trainers and
facilitators will design a customized solution unique to your needs,
complete the facilitation and evaluate the effectiveness of the training.
Community Workshops:
Provide information, sharing of
best practices and training for Board members, staff and volunteers, on
topics such as Board roles and responsibilities, proposal writing, making
meetings work, fundraising strategies, and more. View our current

Strategic Planning and Facilitation Services:
The United Way can provide professional facilitators to lead you in
creating strategic plans or to provide general facilitation of meetings, focus groups,
open forums and seminars.
Executive
Directors Community of Practice
TCS hosts an
Executive Director Breakfast program to address the challenges of
leadership in the not-for-profit sector by providing specific resources
on topical issues, a facilitated monthly discussion group, peer support
and networking opportunities. Join our group in either Barrie or Orillia.
